1. Windows 8 is the code name given to next release of Windows.

2. Windows 8 introduces a new user interface specifically for Touch, also supports keyboard and Mouse. Its called Metro Style UI.

3. Just like the Start button, Start menu in earlier version of Windows, Windows 8 has Start Screen which houses different apps in the form of tiles. Some tiles are Live.

4. You can switch to desktop with Desktop App.
